Christine Helmer (PhD, Yale University) is Professor of Religious Studies at Northwestern University. She is the author of Theology and the End of Doctrine (Westminster John Knox 2014) and the main editor for the Christianity section of the Encyclopedia of the Bible and Its Reception.
