Books

If your permission request relates to commercial use or exceeds the guidelines below, you must receive written permission. Please fill out a request here.

Fair-use guidelines

No formal permission is needed from Lexham when quoting up to 1,000 words or 10% (whichever is less) of a book for noncommercial use as long as the source is credited. Examples include:

• Educational paper
• Photocopies for personal use
• Using material in a sermon or lecture
• Using an excerpt for church-related printouts

Please use the following copyright or an appropriate citation when quoting from a Lexham book:

“Taken from title by author, Copyright © date, pp. #. Used by permission of Lexham Press, www.lexhampress.com.”

Translation

If you would like to translate a chapter or section from a Lexham book, you must receive written permission. Please fill out a request here.

Images

If you would like to use an image from a Lexham book, you must receive written permission. Please fill out a request here.

Please note that Lexham may not own the rights to the image you would like to redistribute and therefore may be unable to grant you permission.

Redistribution of material in a blog

If you would like to redistribute a portion of a Lexham book that fits within our fair- use guidelines, please email us at permissions@lexhampress.com informing us what text you will be using and when it will be posted.
